Minister: Sovcomflot privatization not ruled out to take place 2017

WASHINGTON, Oct 13 (PRIME) -- Privatization of Russian shipping company Sovcomflot is not ruled out to take place in 2017, Economic Development Minister Maxim Oreshkin told reporters on Friday.

Last week, the Finance Ministry removed planned revenue from privatization of Sovcomflot from the 2017 budget.

Oreshkin said: “The Finance Ministry removed this (privatization revenue) because of a conservative approach to budget revenue. And the deal might take place this year, and might not take place. We continue to work actively on the deal, we are looking at various possible structures of the deal with investors.”
